A demo in a week. What is actually in it?
Something you can click, on real screens, doing the one thing the project exists to do. Not a slide deck and not a prototype video. It runs on placeholder data unless you have given us real data, and it is deliberately narrow: the point is to find out we misunderstood you in week one rather than month four. Standard scope, counted from the day we have your content and your access.
Where does our data go?
Enquiries and project data are stored and read in the Republic of Korea. Our mail passes through a service operated in the United States. Courts and authorities in those countries can compel access under their own laws. For a Quebec client this triggers an assessment and a written agreement before anything crosses the border, and we complete that before work starts rather than after.
You have no Canadian entity. Does that matter?
For most private sector work, no. It matters if you intend to claim SR&ED on our fees, which excludes work performed outside Canada, or if you are applying for a programme that requires a Canadian supplier. It also comes up in procurement questionnaires. Ask us early and we will tell you plainly whether we are the wrong vendor for that particular budget.
Can you work in French?
Yes, written rather than translated. Delivery, documentation and the site itself are produced in both languages. Where a Quebec French term differs from a France French one, we use the Quebec one.
What does a project cost?
Most engagements land between twenty five and one hundred and fifty thousand Canadian dollars depending on which lines are involved and how much integration is in the way. You get a scope and a number after the first session, before anything is signed.
Who owns what we build?
You do, on final payment, including the source. We keep the right to describe the work and, if you agree, to show it.
